Ameritas Group Opens Office in Omaha

August 18, 2009//Lincoln, Neb.//Ameritas Group, a division of Ameritas Life Insurance Corp., a UNIFI company, is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Omaha, Nebraska. Located at 440 Regency Parkway Drive, Suite 250, the Omaha location offers sales and underwriting services and provides local support to the region. Key staff members include Melissa Anderson, Joe Easley and Kelly Houghton.

Melissa Anderson serves as the senior group sales representative in charge of key accounts. She graduated from Bellevue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing management. With more than 20 years in the insurance business, Anderson brings a wealth of practical knowledge to Ameritas.

Joe Easley is a group sales representative assigned to key accounts. Originally from Lincoln, Easley is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. As one of the first graduates of the Ameritas college graduate program, he has a deep understanding of Ameritas products, underwriting, claims and policy administration. Easley is relocating from Ameritas Group’s Chicago office, where he has spent three years as a leading sales representative.

Kelly Houghton serves as the small group manager. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing. Houghton comes to Ameritas with a sales background in the financial industry.

Additional staff members are Paul Shimon, group senior underwriter; Scott Reinhardt, group underwriter; and Scott Dibble, sales support specialist.
